This Father's Day, ISLA ATHLETIC 香島躰育 has teamed up with local label To son, to launch the "Isla to son" Father's Day collaboration. The playful, basketball-themed collection features two unisex T-shirt featuring patchwork designs with the use of reflective nylon & mesh: the Court Patchwork Tee & the Island Patchwork Tee. The Court Patchwork Tee was inspired by Hong Kong’s iconic court colorways & the latter a whimsical play on an island with a basketball-sun-rise motif. Available in adult (Size 1-3) & kids’ sizes (Year 3-4 & Years 5-6).
The Father's Day campaign highlights how sports may strengthen family connections, featuring three families. Jason & Amy, who met through sports, now encourage their son, Elyot to explore team activities, fostering resilience & social skills. Kay, owner of Hong Kong leading vegan cafe Years 素年, & Grandpa Kwan bond over basketball. Lastly, Tung Shing, shares his passion for basketball with his son Enoch, who began training at age three & now attends five weekly sessions. They review game footage together, using sports as a tool for communication, perseverance & mutual growth. The "Isla to son" collection encapsulates these shared moments, offering a stylish way for families to connect through sport.
